About

Welcome to my blog. I have been writing a little on and off since 2005. I started off using Joomla before switching to Drupal. In the end I got tired of all the bells and whistles of Drupal that I never used. The blog you are reading now comes off a Wordpress installation on a personal server.

Who am I? I was born in the late sixties. My wife and I have a wonderful little daugther and live in a house on the outskirts of the city of Gothenburg on the west coast of Sweden. I play tennis and very occassionally golf. I like skiing and sailing but it has been very little of that lately. I like to play the piano and to go hunting. Last but not least I spend a lot of time with computers which is an interest that has been going on for more than 30 years – my earliest memory in that area is playing Space Invaders on an IBM mainframe around 1976. I have a master of science in engineering physics from Chalmers University of Technology and I currently work at Icomera, a company I co-founded in 1999. Before that I have worked at Ericsson, Saab Combitech and Cap Gemini.

That’s about as personal as this blog will be. Unlike many others I will not write about what I had for breakfast or my thoughts on some current event. If you know me in real life and want to know more you will just have to give me a call. I use this blog to jot down ideas about various things that interest me other than my family and friends. Some things are not even written for others but instead more as a memory pad for myself to remember how I solved a particularily difficult issue. Perhaps it can help someone and in that case I would be delighted to hear about it.
